    I can't find my venue

    Venue text is turned into a map pin by looking it up in OpenStreetMap after you publish. If nothing is found, the event still lists with your text but has no pin. Fix it by editing the venue to include a street, district or nearby landmark and the correct town spelling; the pin refreshes after saving. There is no manual pin drop yet.

    Fix the address

      Write it as a postal address

      Venue name, street, district, town. "Hasely Crawford Stadium, Wrightson Rd, Port of Spain" not "the stadium".

      Use a landmark for open sites

      Beaches, savannahs and pop-up sites geocode better as the nearest landmark or main road.

      Check the town spelling and country

      Use the map spelling of the town, and make sure the Country field matches; the country is chosen separately from the address.

      Save and wait a few minutes

      Geocoding runs in the background. Pull to refresh the event page to see the pin.

    The pin is in the wrong place

    A short or ambiguous address can match the wrong town or a different country with the same street name. Add more detail (district, postcode where they exist) and save again. If a correct, complete address still lands wrong, email support@tiketcaribbean.com with the event and the right location; we can correct it.

    Manual pin drop is not available yet

    For now the pin comes from the address text. Attendees can always read your venue text and open it in their maps app from the event page.
