    Tickets and external ticket links

During the beta there are two ways to get into an event. Free events hosted on TiketCaribbean give you a free ticket with a QR code in My Tickets, which works offline. Events sold elsewhere show a Get tickets button that opens the seller's site in your browser. Paid tickets on TiketCaribbean itself are coming soon and cannot be bought yet.

How do I get a free ticket?

    1. 1

Open the event and tap Get free ticket

You need to be signed in. The app shows the ticket types and how many are left.

    2. 2

      Choose your quantity

There is a per-order limit set by the organiser and a cap on the total across ticket types. The follow-organiser checkbox is on by default; untick it if you prefer.

    3. 3

      Confirm

Your tickets appear in My Tickets straight away and a confirmation email is sent. Each ticket has its own QR code.

    QR codes work offline

Once a ticket has loaded in My Tickets, its QR code stays available with no signal. Open it before you reach the venue and turn your brightness up.

An External Listing is an event the organiser promotes on TiketCaribbean while selling tickets on another platform. Tapping Get tickets (or Visit Event Website) opens that site in your browser; some listings offer a second link as an alternative. TiketCaribbean does not process the payment, issue the ticket or hold your data for that purchase. If the link is broken, see My ticket link isn't working.

Can I buy paid tickets on TiketCaribbean?

    Paid ticketing is coming soon

Organisers cannot publish paid events during the beta, so there is nothing to buy in-app yet. When it opens, card checkout runs through Stripe and tickets land in My Tickets in the same way free ones do. Until then, any event with a price is an external listing that links you to its seller.

    What is the waitlist?

When a free event on TiketCaribbean sells out and the organiser has enabled a waitlist, the button changes to Join waitlist. If tickets become available you get a notification and a hold of about 30 minutes to Claim your spot. You can leave the waitlist at any time from the event page.

Can I add my ticket to my phone wallet?

Google Wallet is available on Android from the ticket screen. Apple Wallet passes are coming soon; iPhone users use the QR code in My Tickets, which works offline.
