    Troubleshooting

Practical "what do I do if..." answers for sign-in, events, tickets, uploads, notifications and posts.

    1. 1

      I can't find an event

Most missing events are hidden by an active filter, have already ended, or are free events on TiketCaribbean that you are looking for on the website (where they are app-only during the beta). Clear filters, check the date range and country, search by name, and if it is still missing it may not be listed yet; you can submit it as a Word of Mouth event.

    2. 2

      My event isn't appearing

Check the status on My events. A free event must be Published (not Draft); an external listing must be Live (not In review or Rejected). Private listings are only visible with their link. Free events on TiketCaribbean are app-only during the beta, so they will not show on the website. Map pins can take a few minutes to appear after publishing.

    3. 3

      I can't edit my event

In the app, a free event's date, time and pricing lock after creation; edit everything else there, or use the web dashboard to reschedule (which notifies ticket holders). External listings are fully editable in both places. If Edit is missing, you may be signed into a different account, or the event may be cancelled or completed.

    4. 4

      My event information is wrong

If it is your event, edit it from My events (app) or My Events (web); changes to a published free event notify ticket holders. If it is someone else's event, report it: use the report option on the event or email support with the event name and what is wrong. Word of Mouth events are corrected by the team.

    5. 5

      I can't find my venue

Venue text is turned into a map pin by looking it up in OpenStreetMap after you publish. If nothing is found, the event still lists with your text but has no pin. Fix it by editing the venue to include a street, district or nearby landmark and the correct town spelling; the pin refreshes after saving. There is no manual pin drop yet.

    6. 6

      I can't log in

First check which method you signed up with: an account created with Google or Apple must keep signing in that way, and an email password will not work for it. For email accounts use Forgot password. If you never verified your email, request a new code. A "session expired" message just means you need to sign in again.

    7. 7

      I didn't receive a notification

Check three things: the phone allows notifications for TiketCaribbean; the category (for example Organiser announcements or Favourite alerts) has push switched on in Settings → Notifications; and the message was not held by quiet hours. Every notification also lands in the in-app inbox, and most are emailed too, so check the inbox and your spam folder.

    8. 8

      My ticket link isn't working

External ticket links are entered by the organiser and open another site in your browser. If the link is broken or wrong, try the listing's second link if there is one, check the organiser's profile for their website, then report the listing so the team can fix or remove it. TiketCaribbean cannot sell you the ticket on the organiser's behalf.

    9. 9

      I can't upload an image

Use a JPG or PNG, grant the app photo access, and stay on a stable connection while it uploads. Photos are screened automatically before publishing; if one is blocked you see "Photo not published" and should choose a different image. Event covers are cropped to 16:9 in-app, and organiser logos are required before creating events.

    10. 10

      My post isn't appearing

Check My posts for the status. Drafts are private until published; photo and video posts stay hidden while media is processing; a post whose only photo was blocked by screening is hidden until you replace it. If you cannot create at all, your Community Voice application may be pending or your account may have a posting restriction.

    11. 11

      Something isn't working correctly

Try the quick fixes first: update the app from the store, force-close and reopen it, pull to refresh, check your connection, and sign out and back in. If it still fails, report it with your device, app version, what you tapped and what happened, using Feedback in the app or support@tiketcaribbean.com. Beta bugs are expected and every report helps.
