    Understanding event information

    Event cards and pages use a small set of labels. The source badge says who is issuing tickets, Featured marks team picks, prices are shown in the organiser's chosen currency, "From" means the lowest ticket type, hosting type distinguishes in-person from virtual and hybrid events, and organiser badges tell you how far the organiser has been verified.

    Prices and currencies

    Organisers choose the currency their prices are shown in (for example GBP, USD, TTD, JMD, BBD or XCD). TiketCaribbean does not convert prices for display, so a fete in Port of Spain shows TT$ and a brunch in London shows £. For external listings the price is a guide; the seller's checkout is authoritative.

    Hosting type and Caribbean connection

    Word of Mouth events state whether they are in person, virtual or hybrid. External listings declare their Caribbean connection (for example Caribbean artists, Caribbean food, diaspora community) so you know why the event is on TiketCaribbean.

    Age limits, dress code and accessibility

    These appear under Good to know when the organiser filled them in. An age restriction on the listing is set by the organiser and enforced at the door by them, not by the app.

    What do organiser badges mean?

    Badges next to an organiser's name show how far they have been verified (phone, business email, identity) and their standing on the platform (Founding Organiser, levelled organiser badge). The Organiser badges guide explains each one and how it is earned.
