How do I sell paid tickets on TiketCaribbean?

Paid ticketing is live and opened business by business. Request it from Create Event and our team reviews each request. We can only approve a business whose payout bank account is in a country we can pay out to. Once approved, set up payouts with Stripe, then create a paid event in the web dashboard with prices, a currency and a refund rule.

    The steps

    1. 1

      Request paid ticketing

Open Create Event and choose a paid event (in the app, the paid event option). If your business is not approved yet, you are asked to request access. Our team reviews each request and you hear back by email and in the app.

    2. 2

      Check your payout bank country

We can only approve a business whose payout bank account is in a country we can currently pay out to: the United Kingdom, the United States, the 27 EU member states, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Canada. Payouts to Caribbean bank accounts are not available yet.

    3. 3

      Set up payouts with Stripe

On the website dashboard, open Payouts and follow the setup. Stripe carries out its own identity and bank checks on its pages, and you accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. See How payouts work.

    4. 4

      Create the paid event

In the web dashboard, use Create Event for a paid event: set a price and currency for each ticket type, an optional per-account limit, and the refund rule buyers see before they pay.

    5. 5

      Publish and sell

Buyers pay by card on Stripe's secure page, with our 6.5% booking fee (minimum 50p per ticket) shown as its own line. You see sales in your dashboard and attendee list, and the event is settled and paid out after it ends.

If your bank account is in the Caribbean

You can still list events sold elsewhere and create free events with QR tickets. Selling paid tickets through TiketCaribbean needs a payout bank account in one of the countries above until Caribbean payouts are available.

    Your refund rule

Every paid event shows a refund rule before tickets go on sale: what a buyer gets if they change their mind, if you cancel, and if weather cancels the event. You must not make it stricter once tickets are on sale. Full details are in the Refund and Cancellations Policy.
