    What TiketCaribbean is, how to get the app, and the first things to do once you have an account.

      What is TiketCaribbean?

      TiketCaribbean is a mobile app and website for Caribbean events, culture and community, built by CaribraConnect Technology Ltd. You can find events across the islands and the diaspora, save them, follow organisers, get free tickets with a QR code, and take part in Wah Happening Corner. Organisers can list events and use a web dashboard. The mobile app is in its first public beta from 14 September 2026.

      Getting started with the mobile app beta

      The TiketCaribbean mobile app launches its first public beta on Android on 14 September 2026. The iPhone app is still in Apple's review and can be tested now through TestFlight. It is a working app that is still being finished: finding events, free tickets with QR codes, favourites, following organisers, Wah Happening Corner and organiser listing tools are live, while paid ticketing and some community features are marked coming soon. You can create your account on the website now and use it in the app.

      How do I create a TiketCaribbean account?

      Tap Sign Up in the app or on the website and choose email and password, Google, or Apple. With email you receive a verification code to confirm the address. You must be at least 16 to create an account. One account works on both the app and the website.

      Setting up your profile

      Profile setup runs once after you sign up. Only your date of birth and location are required; everything else is optional and can be skipped or changed later from Profile → Edit profile. The optional steps (islands, interests, music, event attendance, socials, referral) shape what Home recommends.

      Finding events: a quick start

      Open the Events tab to browse everything, or start from Home where Featured, This weekend and Organisers you follow surface what is most relevant. Use search for a name, and filters for date, price, country, category and event source. The Carnivals tab covers carnival seasons and mas bands.

      Saving events and following organisers

      Tap the heart on any event card or event page to save it to My Favourites (heart means save, not like). Tap Follow on an organiser profile to add them to Organisers you follow; their new events appear on Home and you can receive their announcements.

      Getting involved in the community

      Anyone with an account can read Wah Happening Corner, react to posts, and submit a Word of Mouth event. Publishing your own articles, photo stories and videos requires becoming a Community Voice, which you apply for in the app or on the website. Memories and Corner Talk are coming soon.
