What fees do organisers and buyers pay on paid tickets?
Buyers pay the ticket price plus a 6.5% booking fee (minimum 50p per ticket), shown as its own line before they pay. Organisers on the Starter plan pay a platform fee of 2% of ticket face value, deducted at settlement. The Pro and Scale plans are not available yet, and Enterprise is by agreement. Stripe processing and payout fees are paid by us. Free and RSVP events have no fees.

When the booking fee is refunded
- If you cancel the event, the booking fee is refunded in the same proportion as the ticket, and it comes out of your settlement. The same applies when you refund or remove a ticket yourself.
- If we remove the event for breaking our rules, buyers get everything back, booking fee included, and the whole amount comes out of your settlement.
- If a refund is our error, we refund the booking fee ourselves.
- For change-of-mind refunds and refunds after a reschedule, buyers get the ticket price (or your stated percentage of it) and the booking fee is not refunded.
Founding Organiser rate
The first 50 organisers pay 1.0 percentage point below the published rate for their plan in years 1 to 3 of the founding programme (1% on Starter), 0.5 points below in year 4, and the published rate from year 5. See What is a Founding Organiser? for the full terms.
