Tickets and external ticketing for organisers
In the beta, TiketCaribbean issues free tickets for free events (early access organisers) and links out to your ticket page for events sold elsewhere. Free tickets carry a signed QR code that you scan with the app or web scanner, with offline mode and a Scan Team of helpers. Paid ticketing, checkout and payouts are coming soon and are not active.

Free tickets on TiketCaribbean (early access)
- Create one or more ticket types, each with a name and quantity. Optionally a per-order limit and a waitlist for when it sells out.
- Attendees claim tickets in the app and get a QR code per ticket, plus a confirmation email.
- Every QR code is cryptographically signed and unique. Re-scanning an already-used ticket is flagged, not admitted.
- You can customise the ticket face with your own image so it matches your brand.
Checking people in
- 1
Open the scanner
App: Profile → Organiser tools → Scan tickets. Web: dashboard → Check-in Scanner. Pick the event; published events within the scan window appear.
- 2
Scan the QR code
A green confirmation shows the attendee's name and ticket type and the live counters update.
- 3
No code? Use the guest list
Search by name and tap Check in. Mistaken check-ins can be undone.
- 4
Weak signal? Offline mode
Load the event before doors open. Scans queue on the device and sync when you are back online; the app reports what was synced.
- 5
Add a Scan Team
Give trusted helpers scanning access for the event (up to 20 people). They sign in with their own TiketCaribbean account and open Scan tickets.
External ticketing
If you sell on Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, FIXR, your own site or anywhere else, list the event on TiketCaribbean with the ticket link. Attendees see Get tickets and go to your page. TiketCaribbean charges nothing for external listings, and does not see your sales, so there is no attendee list or scanner for those events on TiketCaribbean.
Paid ticketing: what is coming
Not available in the beta
Paid events, card checkout, refunds on paid orders and payouts are switched off for everyone. When they open: TiketCaribbean acts as the Stripe merchant of record, buyers pay a booking fee shown at checkout, organisers pay a platform fee per plan, and payouts go to your bank via the payout account you set up. The Payouts and Refunds pages in the dashboard are visible now so you can see the shape of it; payout history there is sample data.
